When we first visited this traditional home in Surrey it had a mixture of uPVC and timber fenestration. The owners wanted to replace all the doors and windows and they chose steel because they knew it would be more in keeping with the look of the property and offer improved thermal efficiency. Some of the existing timber mullions were cut out on installation and replaced with the super slim steel framed steel windows and doors. In other places beautiful timber surrounds remain adding to the character of this charming property.
The new steel doors and windows are manufactured from the Clement EB24 range. We manufactured 14 windows in total and two sets of external steel doors. The new frames were painted in classic Jet Black, accessorized with Selbourne and Kensington multi point locking handles and matching peg stays. Clement multi point locking doors and windows have been successfully tested to PAS24.
The owners are pleased with the finished result. They said: “We were very happy with the professionalism of the installers and that the work was completed in very good time.”
