The December 2021 issue of 25 Beautiful Homes includes an article about interior designer Anne-Marie Leigh’s beautiful Arts and Crafts home which in turn features EB16 leaded steel windows by Clement.
Clement specialises in the manufacture of custom-made steel windows, doors and screens and has applied this expertise in steel fenestration to develop a range of high-quality rooflights that are regularly specified by architects and conservation officers as complementary additions to your home.
Our conservation rooflights are modern reproductions of Victorian originals. Available in eight standard sizes, we can also supply bespoke rooflights. Clement rooflights come in two profiles, one for slate roofs and another for tile, so we are sure to have a solution for your heritage project.
We were delighted to be back at the Grosvenor House in London on 2nd November to present the award for the Small Project of the Year category at this year’s Building Awards.
Clement Windows Group Chief Executive, Peter Clement, presented the award to architectural practice Woods Bagot for their design of the new library at St Mary’s Calne School in Wiltshire.
Opened at the end of 2020, the library was designed to reflect the school’s history and its local surroundings. The building’s lower level includes an informal lounge area which houses the school’s fiction collection, while the upper level is intended for more focused, individual study.
Steel windows and doors are generally very low maintenance. However, with the winter months ahead, it is best practice to carry out some routine cleaning and upkeep to ensure they’re doing the job of keeping your home safe and warm.
There are several benefits to steel windows and doors. As steel is one of the most strong and durable materials available, the longevity of correctly designed and constructed steel frames can be enhanced if good maintenance practices are observed.
Clement’s windows, doors, screens and rooflights are hot-dip galvanised and coated with a strong polyester powder paint to prevent rusting, but it is still vital to keep the frames clean to ensure they last well.
We’ve put together a list of some essential winter maintenance and cleaning tips to ensure your steel windows and doors remain in the best condition to take on the wet and windy months ahead:
HGV driver shortages, port blockages, energy price increases…everywhere we turn at the moment there seems to be bad news BUT buy your conservation rooflights from Clement Windows Group and be assured of good stock availability and quick delivery times!
Clement Conservation Rooflights are competitively priced and available in eight standard sizes with delivery generally within 2-3 working days. They are manufactured in two profiles, one for thicker roofing types such as pantiles and the other for thinner materials like slate. This means that with very little effort your rooflight can be installed to lie as flush as possible with your roof, achieving an even, level finish.
Making the return to office-based working more palatable, Clement Windows has recently manufactured and installed new steel windows at two stunning office refurbishment projects in Central London.
Imagine our excitement when we heard that a Clement steel door was on the cover of the latest House & Garden magazine!
We were thrilled to see a project we worked on for homeowners Mark and Georgie Rowse had been featured not only on the cover, but also across a 10 page article ‘Barn to be Wild’ in July’s issue.
Clement has been awarded the Best of Houzz 2021 badges in both the design and customer service categories for the sixth year running. This means our profile has featured some of the most popular photos and positive customer reviews on Houzz in the last twelve months.
Clement is delighted to have sponsored the Small Project of the Year (up to £5m) for the fifth year running at this year’s Building Awards and congratulate the winners, John McAslan & Partners, who won for their project, Clore Music Studios.
We are thrilled to announce that Clement Windows Group has won a “Best of Houzz” award for both Design and Customer Service on Houzz, the leading platform for home renovation and design.
The Group was chosen by the millions of homeowners that comprise the Houzz community from among more than 2.5 million active home building, renovation and design industry professionals.
The Best Of Houzz badges are awarded annually, in three categories: Design, Customer Service and Photography. Design awards honour professionals whose work was the most popular among the Houzz community. Customer Service honours are based on several factors, including a pro’s overall rating on Houzz and client reviews submitted in 2019. Architecture and interior design photographers whose images were most popular are recognised with the Photography award.
