Clement\u2019s made to measure black steel doors and windows from the\u00a0W20 range<\/a> were used in a project by our client, One 17 Design<\/a>, for this contemporary outdoor space in the grounds of a West Yorkshire property. The project was featured in an article on ’10 Live-work homes\u2019, in Grand Designs Magazine<\/a>, which looks at the rise in home working and home office design.<\/p>\n

Floor-to-ceiling steel windows by Clement in Grand Designs’ home windows guide<\/h2>\n

Featuring a project by Ade Architecture<\/a> using a four-metre height steel-framed screen by Clement Windows, this article in Grand Designs Magazine guides you through all the different window types to suit the style of your home. Our symmetrical screen with double door and 16mm insulated glass units were used in a rear extension, to bring light and uninterrupted views from the garden to the kitchen.<\/p>\n

Red & yellow steel door frames in exquisite London Home – de Gournay & Architectural Digest Middle East<\/h2>\n

With the article supplied courtesy of de Gournay, these stunning coloured steel doors were selected for the home of Hannah Cecil Gurney, a director at de Gournay and daughter of the interiors company founder, and was featured in Architectural Digest Middle East<\/a>. The doors are from Clement’s EB24 exterior and interior doors range<\/a> with G+ system, and feature FA3006 Chelsea handles in imperial bronze unlacquered finish.<\/p>\n

Clement replacement steel windows at Grade II* Listed India Buildings featured in Architects Journal<\/h2>\n

A case study for the 1930s Grade II*-listed India Buildings in Liverpool featured in Architects’ Journal<\/a>. Clement Windows Group was asked to manufacture and install the new double glazed MW40 steel windows<\/a> to match the original single glazed metal windows, and improve thermal performance and energy use within the historic building. Almost 1,000 windows were specified, polyester powder painted in RAL 9016 (White).<\/p>\n

Stunning Clement steel door sets in Real Homes magazine Period Renovation article<\/h2>\n

The article, entitled “One of a kind”, highlights how homeowner Lisa O\u2019Hagan chose bespoke Clement floor to ceiling glass and steel doors for her East London period property, to perfectly link the front and back of the house and flood the space with light. The\u00a0glass and steel doors<\/a> were manufactured from Clement EB24 steel sections. Lisa and her husband Jon chose to have one feature double door with screens above and below, and a pair of double doors for another exit into the garden.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘Let the Light In’ is the title of the article, which focuses on the beautiful Arts and Crafts home of interior designer Anne-Marie Leigh. The designer chose Clement’s EB16 leaded steel windows<\/a> to replace the original metal windows at the property in Surrey. The new slim framed steel windows are in keeping with the original architecture and offer improved thermal performance.<\/p>\n

Clement steel screens from Bert & May founder’s home in Elle Decor<\/h2>\n

Lee Thornley, Founder and Creative Director at Bert & May<\/a>, handmade tile specialists, chose a series of Clement steel door screens to divide areas within his new home in Yorkshire.<\/p>\n

The kitchen and living area was designed to make the most of the natural light, achieved by using the steel framed doors to partition rooms. The series of three steel doors in a row not only creates a stunning feature but allows the light to flow through the ground floor.<\/p>\n

We were thrilled to see a project we worked on for homeowners Mark and Georgie Rowse featured not only on the cover, but also across a 10 page article \u2018Barn to be Wild\u2019 in House & Garden<\/a>‘s July 2021 issue. Mark and Georgie chose Clement EB24 steel windows<\/a> and doors for their latest house, a 19th century barn in Oxfordshire.<\/p>\n
