A project in Surrey featuring new steel windows and doors by Clement was included in a recent issue of Premier Construction Magazine.<\/p>\n

House on the Hill is a residential extension and refurbishment project which was inspired by the Arts and Crafts style, in particular the country houses designed by the prolific architect, Sir Edwin Lutyens.<\/p>\n

The original 1930s house needed an overhaul to make it more suitable to 21st<\/sup> century family living and architects Urban Projects Bureau, together with main contractors Christie\u2019s Carpentry and Constructions Ltd, created a series of light-filled living spaces which connect to the garden and provide views of the surrounding area through clever use of fenestration.<\/p>\n

Clement manufactured all the bespoke steel windows and doors for the project.\u00a0 The exceptionally slim, high specification steel frames from the EB24 range<\/a> suited both the traditional front elevation of the house and the new extension to the rear.<\/p>\n
