CLEMENT - superb steel windows and rooflights
Newsletter: December 2016

Welcome to our December newsletter.

What an exciting year 2016 has been for Clement Windows Group! From rebranding our corporate image to working on some of our biggest projects to date, we have had a very busy and successful time. As a result, our last newsletter of the year is full of interesting updates for you.

We have worked on so many glorious projects, it is hard to choose one to showcase, but we thought our work at the beautiful Framlingham College in Suffolk was not to be missed. Here we replaced the original metal windows with new Clement W20 steel windows and the result is exceptional, as you can see by clicking on the full case study link below.

Clement were thrilled to sponsor the Small Project of the Year (up to £5m) category at this year's Building Awards, which took place at London's Grosvenor House Hotel on 8th November. The night was a triumph for all those involved - you can find out who won on the night and the full story below.

There is now no need to compromise when specifying a conservation rooflight. Not only do our rooflights look absolutely beautiful but their thermal performance has recently been proven exceptional. Clement are delighted to announce that our range has just been awarded an A+ window energy rating from the British Fenestration Ratings Council. Click on the link at the bottom of the page for more information.

The Clement Windows Group has been associated with Charles Brooking and his fascinating archive for many years. The Brooking National Collection of Architectural Detail is the only major national resource of its kind in the UK. It charts the evolution of Britain's constructional elements particularly windows and doors over the last 500 years. Clement are proud to announce that we are now a primary sponsor of the Collection.

If you are maintaining, altering or renovating your listed home - or even looking to buy one - The Listed Property Show 2017 is not to be missed! The show will be held at Olympia, London over the weekend of 18th & 19th February and Clement are delighted to announce we will be on stand C9. You can get free admission by clicking here

We look forward to updating you soon with news on other Clement projects including 55 Park Lane, The Maple Building and our continued work at The Eldorado in New York City.

We hope you will be informed and inspired...

May we take this opportunity to thank you for your business in 2016 and to wish you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Fabulous fenestration at Framlingham Clement at The Building Awards 2016 An 'A' Window Energy Rating for Clement Conservation Rooflights

Framlingham, originally called the Albert Memorial College, was founded in 1864 by public subscription as the Suffolk County Memorial to Queen Victoria's husband, Albert, Prince Consort. Incorporated by Royal Charter. Built to accommodate 300 boys, the College opened its doors to pupils on 10 April 1865.

With such historical importance, the recent window replacement project had to be given a lot of thought.

Clement W20 steel windows were chosen as the perfect replacements.

Clement sponsored the Small Project of the Year category at this year's awards. The winner was chosen according to standards of design, sustainability, innovation, construction performance and procurement and team work with the client all values which Clement prize highly.

Bennetts Associates beat a shortlist of ten nominees and scooped the award for their Shaftesbury Theatre project, which was presented by our Chairman Mike Haan. Hosted by James Nesbit the evening was a huge success.

Of course we don't like to brag, but you just can't beat the look of our conservation rooflights range. They are low profile and look fabulous in both slate and tile roofs and are the only conservation rooflights available in two profiles to ensure you get that sought after flush finish.

Not only do Clement Conservation Rooflights look wonderful but you can rest assured they are energy efficient after just being awarded an 'A' Window Energy Rating by the BFRC!
