Welcome to our March newsletter.
The splendid building above is the iconic Old Marylebone Town Hall in Westminster. Recently leased by the London Business School, Clement have had the privilege of working here for Main Contractors, Wates Construction, turning this Grade II Listed Building into an integral part of the School.
Architects Sheppard Robson designed the 123,451 sq ft redevelopment to preserve the building's early 20th century period features but at the same time expand the Business School's educational facilities with the addition of a new three-storey building which houses six lecture theatres, 35 seminar rooms, a library, offices and faculty spaces.
Clement EB24 steel windows were specified to replace both the original windows and also for the new building. You can see more on this fascinating scheme, including a testimonial from Dave Nott, Project Director at Wates, below.
We are also proud to showcase our work at The Cooperage, a unique project for which Chris Dyson Architects won the London RIBA Regional Awards 2017. Clement worked with Chris Dyson and the local Conservation Officers to sympathetically restore this property which is now a spectacular five bedroom house. Read the full case study below.
Our handsome Conservation Rooflights have been selling like hot cakes lately and it's not hard to see why - we are the only company to offer two different profiles, one for slate and one for tile roofs, designed to sit level with the line of your roof to ensure they are in keeping with the character of the property. Competitively priced and available from stock - what's not to like?! See our whole range by clicking on the link below.
