CLEMENT - superb steel windows and rooflights
Newsletter: March 2018

Welcome to our March newsletter.

The splendid building above is the iconic Old Marylebone Town Hall in Westminster. Recently leased by the London Business School, Clement have had the privilege of working here for Main Contractors, Wates Construction, turning this Grade II Listed Building into an integral part of the School.

Architects Sheppard Robson designed the 123,451 sq ft redevelopment to preserve the building's early 20th century period features but at the same time expand the Business School's educational facilities with the addition of a new three-storey building which houses six lecture theatres, 35 seminar rooms, a library, offices and faculty spaces.

Clement EB24 steel windows were specified to replace both the original windows and also for the new building. You can see more on this fascinating scheme, including a testimonial from Dave Nott, Project Director at Wates, below.

We are also proud to showcase our work at The Cooperage, a unique project for which Chris Dyson Architects won the London RIBA Regional Awards 2017. Clement worked with Chris Dyson and the local Conservation Officers to sympathetically restore this property which is now a spectacular five bedroom house. Read the full case study below.

Our handsome Conservation Rooflights have been selling like hot cakes lately and it's not hard to see why - we are the only company to offer two different profiles, one for slate and one for tile roofs, designed to sit level with the line of your roof to ensure they are in keeping with the character of the property. Competitively priced and available from stock - what's not to like?! See our whole range by clicking on the link below.

New Clement EB24 steel windows for Westminster The Cooperage – London RIBA Regional Awards 2017 Winner Bespoke Conservation Rooflights required?

As well as being home to the London Business School, Marylebone Town Hall is also one of the most popular venues in London for weddings and civil partnerships. Its famous steps have twice hosted the nuptials of Sir Paul McCartney as well as Hollywood stars Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith! We think our new steel windows look marvellous in the finished project.

To achieve the 'industrial look' at The Cooperage, Clement EB24 steel windows with genuine T Bars were selected to replace the original fenestration, along with a series of both internal and external bespoke door screens in both W20 and EB24 sections. The custom made steel windows and doors were all crafted to the highest standard that clients have come to expect from Clement products.

As well as eight standard sizes being available from stock, Clement can also offer bespoke rooflights for when one of these sizes just doesn't suit. Still very competitively priced and with surprisingly fast delivery times, why not contact us for a quote? All our rooflights have achieved an 'A' Window Energy rating so they not only look fantastic but are incredibly thermally efficient too.
