We hope everyone enjoyed the summer and what was generally a good dry spell – always a positive for those of us working in construction!! In this edition we are proud to showcase our work at a breathtakingly beautiful country house in East Sussex. Clement manufactured and installed a series of six stunning arched head steel doors and a number of windows. You will find further details below. We also discuss a recent project in Wiltshire, where we were asked to make the new steel windows and patio doors for an outbuilding in the grounds of a Grade II listed house. The owners are delighted with the results. A number of our conservation rooflights have been installed into a beautiful Glendyne Slate roof at a country estate. They sit perfectly flush with the roofline and achieve just the look our clients were hoping for. The link to the case study is below. Clement was thrilled to be included in the August issue of Ideal Home magazine. Our rooflights could be spotted in the article featuring the home of Lisa Brass, Founder of Design Vintage Ltd. Lisa has been busy refurbishing her beach house and the end result is fantastic! It is nearly time for the highly anticipated annual Building Awards. We always look forward to the incredible awards night in November, celebrating the best in construction. Last year was particularly memorable for Clement as our project 'The Brewhouse' in Malta won International Project of The Year! We enjoyed working alongside a stellar team including Stedman Blower Architects and CC Construction at this incredible country house. Our work included making the series of bespoke steel doors required for the kitchen extension and a number of steel windows for the main house. Everyone was delighted that the project won House and Garden's House of the Year Award. READ MORE New Lease of Life for Historical Outbuilding Conservation Rooflights Chosen for Country Estate Clement manufactured the new EB20 windows and W40 doors required for this newly renovated outbuilding in Wiltshire. Our client said: "Your windows are the perfect fit and look magnificent, both complementing and enhancing the house inside and out, and marrying the building into our main house. From start to finish we have had excellent service. Thank you!" It was a delight to work with our client over a number of phases, supplying Clement Conservation Rooflights for this idyllic farmhouse and its surrounding cottages. Our rooflights fit the brief perfectly as the owners wanted to ensure that the original character of the home was retained. This was achieved by choosing sensitive materials and products for the restoration.
