Tucked away in the Surrey Hills is the beautiful village of Coldharbour, a unique place as it is a Conservation Area, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and an Area of Great Landscape Value. Here you will find Crockers Farm, which offers self-catering accommodation and livery facilities.
Over more than a decade the farm has been completely redesigned by architects McDaniel Woolf. The works included reordering the farmhouse, hay barn and farm machinery store and the creation of the annex building.
The annex is a modest, contemporary construction designed to be in keeping with the existing historic buildings at the farm and to sit comfortably within the surrounding landscape. It was built to reflect the client’s vision of a sustainable development providing habitation of the highest architectural quality.
Clement manufactured and installed the new steel windows and doors for the newly built annex and also supplied the conservation rooflights. The new steel windows and doors were manufactured from the Clement W20 range and feature Naked Steel. As an alternative to polyester powder paint being applied to the slender frames, they have a galvanised finish.
The steel windows and doors include krypton filled glass units which offer increased thermal performance.
