Dual colour EB20 steel windows for luxury home in London Conservation Area

Hampstead Garden Suburb in North West London is a designated Conservation Area, governed by the Hampstead Garden Suburb Trust. Strict planning guidelines help preserve the character of this historic neighbourhood, preventing inappropriate alterations and ensuring that new developments remain sympathetic to the original architecture.

Clement Windows Group’s steel windows are approved by the Trust, and we regularly undertake projects within the area. For this substantial and attractive family home, the owners wanted to replace all the original steel windows and doors, which were no longer fit for purpose. They chose Clement’s EB20 steel windows and W40 steel doors, both of which offer the elegant, traditional appearance of the original fenestration while delivering significantly improved thermal performance, security and longevity.

As every Clement steel window and door is individually crafted, the ranges were ideally suited to the bespoke requirements of this high-end property. The project included two striking curved windows on the front elevation, alongside a number of dual-coloured windows and doors finished in white externally and black internally. The design also incorporated a combination of clear glazing and genuine T bars.
