Studio WD have been busy working on this outstanding project in the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. What was once a neglected, prefabricated bungalow has been developed into a stylish country home.
New fenestration was required throughout, which included a mixture of both timber and steel frames. Clement was delighted that they chose a number of our steel door screens for the external rear elevation and to separate rooms internally.
The Clement EB24 range was specified for the new steel door screens, painted in a dark bronze finish. At the rear of the property the new slim framed doors allow the inside to connect seamlessly with the outside and bring in masses of natural light. Steel doors were also incorporated into the design of the interior, adding a contemporary edge to the kitchen area.
Studio WD said: “We used Clement Windows Group for this 5200 sq ft new build property in Surrey. We included large steel windows and doors in the design for the kitchen/family room in order to make the most of the views of the surrounding countryside. This was the second time we worked with Clement on a project, and we were very happy with the end result and the service we received. We would definitely work with them again on future projects.”
