1930s family home refreshed with new EB20 metal windows

The owners of this 1930s family home in Berkshire wanted to update the windows in their house with modern replacements. Aiming for advantages such as increased thermal performance and improved security, they also wanted the new windows to look as close as possible to the original fenestration and to be in keeping with their beautiful home. The Clement range of EB20 steel windows was the answer and we were delighted to be chosen to both manufacture and install all the new steel window frames.

The bespoke EB20 metal windows are all painted white and complemented by dark bronze window furniture. Details like the hand crafted, intricate Fenestra joints on the inside glazing give the windows true character.

Our client said: "We have a 1930s house which had original single glazed windows. Previous owners had added some secondary double glazing and some of the windows had started to rust, so we decided to replace them - a total of 42 separate units. After looking at several companies we decided to use Clement Windows.

We were impressed with the detail of the proposal and preferred to deal directly with the manufacturer rather than an installer. The progress of the order was well managed and the installation took place exactly on time before Christmas. Installation was completed in a single week and we are very pleased with the result.

We have no hesitation in giving Clement 5 stars and would certainly use them again."
