Clement Windows Group’s Work Process

February 4th, 2026

Clement has recently added a new page to the web site outlining the key stages of our work process.

Clement Windows Group’s Work Process - Welding

While every job is different and all our steel windows and steel doors are made bespoke to the individual requirements of a project, we thought it would be useful to share the key steps you will go through on your journey with us.

The manufacture of a steel fenestration product involves many stages – cutting and welding the steel sections, hot dip galvanising, polyester powder coating, testing, quality control and certification – and each requires a high level of expertise and precision and takes time to complete.

When you first get in touch, please give us as much information as possible – photos, measurements and drawings – as this will help us to provide you with a quotation. While we appreciate that some people are only looking for an indicative quotation at the outset of a project, we prefer to issue a quotation following a sales visit and site survey as this will ensure that all the relevant information is captured for the most accurate quotation.

When the quotation and manufacturing drawings are issued, it is very important that you check that all the elements you require are included in order to avoid problems or delays later in the process. Collaboration is an important part of your steel window journey with Clement and we are available to discuss any questions you might have.

Clement’s factory is certified to ISO14001 and ISO 9001 so you can rest assured that your new window and doors meet the highest of standards for design, manufacture, installation and environmental management.

There is a lot of skill required to fit a steel window or door correctly and that is why we only use qualified and experienced installers. Once your installation is complete a member of our friendly installation team will take you to inspect your new windows and doors before you sign the work off.

Our Client Services team is available to help with any queries or issues that might arise post-installation.
