2021 has undoubtedly been a testing year for many. Despite the challenges of this year, we have worked tirelessly to continue to deliver our range of high-quality, bespoke steel windows, doors and conservation rooflights.
Clement has had the pleasure of working with a number of new clients, delivering a unique range of steel-framed units across both residential and commercial clients. Here are a few of our favourite projects from 2021.
The owner of this Grade II* listed property in Surrey was looking for windows and doors to complement the original ‘modernist’ aspects of the property. Built-in 1932 by well-renowned architects Connell, Ward and Lucas, this home is a perfect example of the Modernist Movement in architecture. Finished with our EB20 windows coated in matt Pastel Blue, and EB20 doors with multi-point locking, the rooms in this home benefit from the early morning and late afternoon sun.

Clement specialises in the manufacture of custom-made steel windows, doors and screens and has applied this expertise in steel fenestration to develop a range of high-quality rooflights that are regularly specified by architects and conservation officers as complementary additions to your home.
Our conservation rooflights are modern reproductions of Victorian originals. Available in eight standard sizes, we can also supply bespoke rooflights. Clement rooflights come in two profiles, one for slate roofs and another for tile, so we are sure to have a solution for your heritage project.

We were delighted to be back at the Grosvenor House in London on 2nd November to present the award for the Small Project of the Year category at this year’s Building Awards.
Clement Windows Group Chief Executive, Peter Clement, presented the award to architectural practice Woods Bagot for their design of the new library at St Mary’s Calne School in Wiltshire.
Opened at the end of 2020, the library was designed to reflect the school’s history and its local surroundings. The building’s lower level includes an informal lounge area which houses the school’s fiction collection, while the upper level is intended for more focused, individual study.

HGV driver shortages, port blockages, energy price increases…everywhere we turn at the moment there seems to be bad news BUT buy your conservation rooflights from Clement Windows Group and be assured of good stock availability and quick delivery times!
Clement Conservation Rooflights are competitively priced and available in eight standard sizes with delivery generally within 2-3 working days. They are manufactured in two profiles, one for thicker roofing types such as pantiles and the other for thinner materials like slate. This means that with very little effort your rooflight can be installed to lie as flush as possible with your roof, achieving an even, level finish.

Imagine our excitement when we heard that a Clement steel door was on the cover of the latest House & Garden magazine!
We were thrilled to see a project we worked on for homeowners Mark and Georgie Rowse had been featured not only on the cover, but also across a 10 page article ‘Barn to be Wild’ in July’s issue.

What does ‘home’ mean to you? In most cases, at the forefront of your mind will be a space that provides comfort for you and your family. A huge amount of reassurance comes from the feeling of safety, and luckily there are a number of precautions you can take to ensure the security of your home is optimised.
At Clement Windows, we are able to deliver high quality, high security, steel windows and doors to fit your bespoke designs, offering support at every stage of the process.
Windows and doors are probably the most important factors in securing your home but are all too often neglected in favour of other automatic security systems.
Although the front door is the most common entryway to your home, windows are generally the most fragile and therefore the easiest points of entry for unwelcome visitors.
It is important to make sure that all possible entry points to your home are up to scratch when it comes to security.

Here at Clement Windows, we’ve had the pleasure of overseeing some truly beautiful and inspiring home design projects and commercial spaces over the years. Whilst we’ve shared insights into how our steel windows, screens and doors can be used for unusual projects and growing trends such as garden rooms or exercise studios, several of our recent projects have highlighted another growing trend in home and interior design: the wine cellar.
If you’ve always had a penchant for wine and enjoy building up a bit of a collection, why not consider storing and showcasing it proudly within your home with its very own room?
