Clement Windows Group has manufactured over 100 new steel-framed windows for The Brewhouse in Malta.
The Brewhouse, formerly Farsons Brewery, is one of the finest examples of a reinforced concrete Art Deco building on the island of Malta. Founded and designed by Lewis V Farrugia and William Binnie, the building is an icon of the industrialisation of post-war Malta. Opened in June 1950, today it is Grade II listed.

Clement’s rooflights were recently chosen for the refurbishment of a traditional Scottish sandstone property situated near Stirling. The rooflights are installed into a stunning Welsh slate roof, maximizing light in the property while also improving thermal efficiency.

We have added another video to the Clement Windows Group YouTube channel which gives an overview of some of the commercial projects Clement has provided new steel windows and doors for in recent years.
Clement works closely with architects, designers and main contractors to produce bespoke fenestration solutions for a broad range of commercial settings. From manufacturing replica replacement windows for listed and other public buildings, to crafting steel doors and screens for office blocks and supplying our conservation rooflights to church renovation and barn conversion projects – we have the experience and knowledge required!

Clement has once again sponsored the Small Project of the Year (up to £5m) award at the 2023 Building Awards, which was held at the Grosvenor House in London on 7th November.
This was the eighth consecutive year Clement has sponsored the award and as always it was a star-studded event, hosted by comedian Rob Brydon, with entertainment from the London Gospel Choir.

Our RIBA accredited CPD seminar, ‘Steel Windows – A New Generation’, has recently been updated to include exciting new product developments in the story of steel fenestration, the most recent being thermally broken steel windows.

At Clement Windows Group, we’ve recently added information about our MW40 steel window range to the website. The MW40 range offers a similar profile to W40 but allows for a larger glazed unit to be included, making the range ideal for large commercial schemes where steel windows have been specified.

Clement is excited to announce that it is now able to manufacture and install cold formed steel systems by Jansen. The slender Jansen steel window profiles meet the highest thermal, security and fire protection requirements and are suitable for restoration work and new builds. Jansen steel door profiles are appropriate for situations where higher levels of safety, insulation and soundproofing are required, but where slim steel frames are still desirable.

We were excited to see our conservation rooflights on a recent TV programme.
Derelict Rescue, which aired on HGTV in May, featured the conversion of a deconsecrated Methodist church near Leeds into a comfortable home. A mezzanine floor was added to accommodate two bedrooms and bathrooms and rooflights from the standard range of Clement Conservation Rooflights were included to lighten up the space.
