Clement stars in Waverley Borough Council promotional video

Clement was delighted to be featured in a recent promotional video about Haslemere for Waverley Borough Council.

Local filmmaker, Ben Burton, was commissioned by the Council to showcase the borough’s main towns on video, promoting Haslemere, Farnham and Godalming as places where business can thrive, and communities are actively shaping a positive future.

The videos bring together a wide mix of local enterprises – from creative industries and technology start-ups to outdoor lifestyle businesses, heritage manufacturers and hospitality providers – with an emphasis on innovation, collaboration, and sustainable growth.

Portfolio Holder for Planning and Development at Waverley Borough Council, Councillor Liz Townsend, said: “These films showcase the unique strengths and entrepreneurial spirit of each of our towns – from cutting-edge innovation to community-driven initiatives. By supporting local businesses and creative talent, we are not only celebrating what makes this area special but also laying the foundations for a more prosperous borough where enterprise and opportunity can thrive.”

Haslemere’s video features Clement Windows Group, Pact Coffee, a fast-growing ethical B Corp offering local employment and the collaborative workspace Studio Simple. The town’s connection to outdoor enterprise is reflected in MB Cyclery and Off Root, while Lythe Hill Hotel highlights the importance of the hospitality sector to the local economy.

Clement Chief Executive, Peter Clement, who plays a starring role in the Haslemere film, said: “My colleagues and I were really impressed at the professional way Ben and his team operated and this can be seen in the finished item – a fabulous example of what our Borough is capable of producing!”
