Clement steel doors and screens pictured in Grand Designs Magazine

October 6th, 2022

Internal steel doors and screens manufactured by Clement Windows Group were pictured in the August 2022 issue of Grand Designs Magazine.

The steel frames were installed at the new home of Lee Thornley, founder of the handmade tile specialist Bert & May.

The kitchen and living area at the property was designed to make the most of natural light and the three steel door screens used to partition the space maximise the light available and are a great alternative to solid walls.

There are a few advantages of steel windows and doors. Steel is the ideal material for a set of doors or a glass partition because it is so inherently strong meaning it will last a long time.  It is also a very malleable metal which can be fashioned into almost any design you can conceive of.

Generally made from our EB24 or W20 steel sections, Clement’s steel doors and screens are available in a range of colours with multi point locking or a traditional mortice lock and are fitted with safety glass to meet the requirements of Building Regulations.
