Clement Windows Group provided silver level sponsorship at this year’s Haslemere Fringe Festival which took place over the weekend of 1st-3rd July.
The Haslemere Fringe Festival is a not-for-profit charity event, run and supported entirely by a fantastic volunteer network from the local community and beyond, with the help of generous donations from local businesses. Running since 2010, the bi-annual event celebrates alternative music, art, dance, comedy, photography and much more.
Headline music acts at the event which had been postponed due to COVID-19 included Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Toploader, The Feeling and Betty Boo. There were also several dance acts, including local dance schools and national dance companies, various comedy, poetry and children’s entertainment acts, a funfair and a number of retail stalls.
This year’s main partner charity was local hospice care charity Phyllis Tuckwell.
Phyllis Tuckwell provides supportive and end of life care for patients and families who are living with an advanced or terminal illness, such as cancer, across the whole of West Surrey and part of North East Hampshire.
Only 20% of the charity’s costs are covered by the NHS/Government and as their services are given free of charge to patients and their families they need to raise over £25,000 a day in order to offer the exceptional standard of care and support which they are known for.
Clement, which manufactures and installs bespoke premium steel windows, screens and doors, has offices located in the centre of Haslemere. Recognised as specialists in conservation work for both private residences and commercial projects, the company also supplies a selection of conservation rooflights.
