Haslemere Hens

Clement Windows Group have sponsored a Haslemere Hen this year as part of a local charity fundraising initiative.

Haslemere Hens 2022 is the successor to Haslemere Hogs 2017, Haslemere Hares 2018 and Haslemere Hounds 2019. The project encourages local artists and schools to decorate the fibreglass animals which are displayed by shops and businesses across the town for a few months before being auctioned, with the proceeds going to a variety of charities and good causes.  To date in the region of £150,000 has been raised by the scheme.

Clement’s hen was created by a 14-18 year old group from Haslemere Ranger Guides and is titled Free RANGEr Hen.  Girlguiding UK offers girls from the age of four the space and opportunities to thrive, grow and give back to their communities.  The hen was originally on display at Haslemere Station, but it is now back at Clement’s steel windows offices in the centre of town.

The gala auction finale will take place from 6.15 pm on 22^nd October at the Haslewey Community Centre.
