Clement Windows provide a bespoke residential replacement service, from the provision of technical drawings, to manufacturing, installation and after sales support. We understand that a home should be a comfortable and secure haven and the Clement Windows team have been privileged to apply their honed fenestration experience to a wealth of beautiful properties, both in the UK and abroad. Here are some of our most recent residential steel window projects that have been given the Clement touch.
This picture perfect property in the leafy county of Surrey was renovated in the summer of 2014 using the Clement EB24 suite of metal windows. We utilised our expert fenestration knowledge when replacing the windows and doors at the property to retain its beautiful character and dramatically improving energy performance. A matt cream polyester paint coating was used on each frame to complement the striking red brickwork and create a classic finish that reflected the grandeur of the building.
Winters Grace is as intriguing as it is beautiful. Its name was coined by its former owner Alfred Hitchcock who took inspiration from his two favourite actresses: Shelley Winters and Grace Kelly. The Grade II listed property, which is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, was originally a Tudor farmhouse that dates back to the 16th century. This historic property was fitted with a complex combination of the Brooking and SMW windows suites that are designed for specialist architecture. Every window created in our ISO 9001 approved factory was a bespoke product and a combination of clear and leaded light glazing was used to invite the right level of light and atmosphere.
Many Clement Windows have been whisked off to the ‘Big Apple’ for a large scale replacement project on one of the world’s most iconic Art Deco structures: the luxury Eldorado. Built between 1929 and 1931, the exclusive block has become a landmark along the city skyline and has attracted a list of big name buyers, including Moby, Alec Baldwin and Michael J Fox. EB24 windows were chosen to provide a sympathetic finish that would replicate its original fenestration in a large number of apartments. Satin bronze handles were then fitted as a final touch to echo the artistry of the Art Deco era. We have continually supplied steel windows for The Eldorado for over 10 years.
The combination of hard edges and geometric shapes at Sutton Place Farm epitomises the beauty of Art Deco architecture during the roaring 1920s. After years of neglect, its new owners were determined to restore the building to its former glory by sourcing an advanced fenestration range for its array of challenging windows. The EB24 Clement steel windows suite was chosen for its performance qualities and ability to adapt to curved fittings and intricate detail. The challenge of replacing a large number of feature bay windows, French casement doors and an original eyebrow feature window granted us a great opportunity to use the latest engineering techniques to create solid, durable pieces that we are all very proud of.
This modern residential home in Surrey perfectly demonstrates the versatility of our EB24 steel window range, which can be used on new builds and refurbishment work. Our bespoke metal windows and doors were used to maximise light and optimise the beautiful views that surrounded the property. Following an industry recommendation to the owner, the Clement team set to work to manufacture and install the new steel windows and doors to the highest standard. The final result met required planning energy ratings and achieved a look that the owner keenly wanted for his property.
