Clement black steel windows and doors for garden room in Grand Designs Magazine

We are delighted to see our black steel windows and doors included in an article in the March issue of Grand Designs.

As you will have seen if you follow us on Instagram, the article ’10 Live-work homes’ looks at the rise in home working and the importance of building flexibility and natural light into home office design.  Several example projects are featured including one by our client, One 17 Design, who created a superb contemporary outdoor space by extending the existing garage in the grounds of a property in West Yorkshire.

The property owner not only works from home, but also uses the space as a yoga studio and extra accommodation for friends and family.  With a material palette dominated by oak and steel, Clement’s made to measure black steel doors and windows from the W20 range were the perfect match.  The interior door which separates the bathroom from the living space features on trend reeded glass.
