Clement sponsor Small Project of the Year (up to £5m) award at the 2023 Building Awards

Clement has once again sponsored the Small Project of the Year (up to £5m) award at the 2023 Building Awards, which was held at the Grosvenor House in London on 7^th November.

This was the eighth consecutive year Clement has sponsored the award and as always it was a star-studded event, hosted by comedian Rob Brydon, with entertainment from the London Gospel Choir.

Clement Windows Group Chief Executive, Peter Clement, presented the award to the winners, Perkins&Will, for their project, Grenfell Nursery.

The provision of a new home for the Grenfell Early Years Nursery, originally housed at the foot of the Grenfell Tower, was at the heart of the Lancaster West Estate Refurbishment in North Kensington following the 2017 tragedy.

Perkins&Will’s facility includes two main rooms on the ground floor and one on the first floor providing flexible spaces and supporting opportunities for nature-orientated learning, which is fundamental to the nursery’s approach.

The project was also the recipient of the AJ100 Community Impact of the Year award.
