Clement Windows Group shortlisted for two awards at this year’s Build It Awards

We are delighted to hear that the Clement EB20 steel window range and the Clement EB20 steel door range have been shortlisted for the Best Window and Best Glazed Door categories respectively at this year’s Build It Awards.

The Build It Awards have, for the last 11 years, brought together architects and manufacturers, as well as key industry figures, in recognition of innovation and excellence in the custom and self-build home sector.

The winners will be announced on Friday 25^th November at a fabulous Awards Night at the Bankside Hilton in London.

Clement EB20 steel windows are a popular and versatile solution for both residential and commercial projects.  These exceptionally slim, high specification steel windows are crafted bespoke to specific requirements, replicating the appearance of existing or original steel windows, while providing first rate thermal performance and high security.  Manufactured from recycled steel, EB20 windows achieve a ‘B’ Window Energy Rating.

Steel doors by Clement can really bring the ‘wow’ element to a project.  In common with original steel doors, the EB20 steel door range features a super slim W40 frame, but the use of a 20mm krypton filled glass unit with a centre pane U Value of 1.1 means an overall typical U Value of 2.4 can be achieved.  The EB20 door has other advantages too: the thinner unit allows for a more angled chamfer (a reduced “shadow line”) meaning more glass and less frame is seen and this in turn creates better solar gain leading to energy saving; it is available with multi point locking which can meet the high security standard PAS24; and, there is a broad range of glass design options, including leaded lights, genuine T bars and Clement’s Georgian Fenestra joint and Georgian welded G+ systems.
