The team at Clement provides a bespoke steel window replacement service for residential customers, including the provision of technical drawings, manufacture, installation and after sales support. We work with customers towards creating a home that is a comfortable and secure haven. Here are some examples of residential metal window projects we have worked on.
This picture perfect property, in the leafy county of Surrey, was renovated using the Clement EB24 range of metal windows. Great care was taken when replacing the windows and doors at the property to retain the beautiful character of the building while dramatically improving energy performance. A matt cream polyester paint coating was used on each frame to complement the striking red brickwork and create a classic finish that reflected the grandeur of the building.
Winter’s Grace is as intriguing as it is beautiful. Its name was coined by its former owner, Alfred Hitchcock, who took inspiration from his two favourite actresses, Shelley Winters and Grade Kelly. The Grade II listed property, which is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, was originally a Tudor farmhouse that dates back to the 16th century. This historic property was fitted with a complex combination of the Clement Brooking and SMW ranges which are designed for specialist architecture. Every window created in our ISO 9001 approved factory was a bespoke product and a combination of clear and leaded light glazing was used to create the right level of light and character.
Many steel windows by Clement have been whisked off to the Big Apple for a large scale replacement project on one of the world’s most iconic Art Deco structures, the luxury Eldorado. Built between 1929 and 1931, this exclusive block has become a landmark on the city’s skyline and has attracted a list of big name buyers, including Moby, Alec Baldwin and Michael J Fox. The EB24 range was chosen to provide a sympathetic finish and replicate the original fenestration in a number of apartments. Satin bronze handles were then fitted as a final touch to echo the artistry of the Art Deco era.
The combination of hard edges and geometric shapes at this property epitomises the beauty of Art Deco architecture during the roaring 1920s. After years of neglect, the new owners were determined to restore the building to its former glory by sourcing an advanced fenestration range for its array of windows. Clement EB24 steel windows were chosen for their high performance and ability to mimic the curved fittings and intricate detail of the originals. The challenge of replacing a large number of feature bay windows, French casement doors and an original eyebrow feature window granted us a great opportunity to use the latest engineering techniques, creating solid, durable windows that we are all very proud of.
This modern property in Surrey perfectly demonstrates the versatility of our EB24 steel window range which can be used for new builds as well as for refurbishment work. Our bespoke metal windows and doors were selected to maximise light and optimise the beautiful views from the property. The new windows met the required energy ratings and achieved the look the owner keenly wanted for the property.
