What colour are your Clement steel windows and doors?

March 29th, 2022

Did you know that all Clement steel windows and doors are hot-dip galvanised to EN ISO BS 1461 and available in a choice of highly durable Akzo Nobel powder paint colours?

Designer, Lorna Wright, chose RAL 8080 (Dark Bronze) matt for her Clement EB24 steel door screen for this simply stunning pool house. Photos were taken and kindly supplied by Lorna Wright.

Clement provides an average paint coating of in excess of 100 microns on flat surfaces – the industry standard calls for 60/70 microns – giving a superb finish.

We offer an extensive number of RAL colours within our standard price range.  The classic steel window frame colours shown here are recommended because in our experience these not only look the best but retain their appeal over time.

We also offer a dual colour finish where you can have the window frame painted one colour internally and another colour externally and it is possible to opt for specialist colours such as metallics for both paint and silicone.

The most popular colours chosen by our clients tend to be blacks, greys and whites to provide a match to existing steel windows and doors or to achieve the ‘industrial look’.  However, we have completed many projects in all sorts of different colours, including greens, yellows and blues and we can now even offer metallic and bronze finishes!

Henley College in Oxfordshire required dual colour steel windows. Inside RAL 9010 Pure White (semi gloss) was chosen to match the interior, on the outside RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey (semi gloss) was required to be in keeping with the original windows.

An unusual, but beautiful blue – RAL 5024 (Pastel Blue) matt was chosen for this project.
