Clement windows and doors now available in PAS24

Clement Windows Group is pleased to announce that the EB24, W20 and W40 ranges of steel windows and doors are now available with multi-point locking to PAS 24.

PAS 24 is a standard of testing which measures the security performance of windows and doors against an opportunistic burglar.

For new build residential projects, Building Regulations require that new windows and doors have undergone the stringent testing of PAS 24.  This is not currently the case for a commercial new build. 

Generally, Clement Windows specialise in fenestration replacement work so it is not usually a requirement for Building Regulations, however, we wanted to be able to offer our clients this increased level of security should they wish to choose it.  With burglaries on the rise in the UK, windows and doors are a great place to start taking extra measures to improve security. 

In accordance with approved Document Q which sets security requirements for new dwellings in England, PAS24:2016 can be achieved on side hung vents, top hung vents, single and double doors when using our multi point locking systems.
