Battersea Power Station – London
Newsletter: June 2019
2019 has been a busy year so far for Clement Windows Group.
Our order book continues to fill up with a mixture of exciting residential and commercial projects where our highly sought after steel windows, doors, screens and rooflights have been specified.
Some time ago we mentioned that we had been appointed steel window supplier to the first phase of development at Battersea Power Station. We are delighted that we can now share the stunning image above and let you have more information about the work we have been involved in at this London landmark – including the fact that our factory has already received new orders for future phases of the development! You can read the full story below.
Did you know that Clement's windows come in all sorts of different shapes and sizes? We recently manufactured new EB24 steel windows for an extension at a 19th century house in the Barnsbury Conservation Area in North London which included a cantilevered upper floor. Have a look at the full story and prepare to be impressed by the stunning curved corner window!
Our rooflights continue to be a popular choice for heritage conversion projects. Manufactured to suit both a slate and a tile profile Clement Conservation Rooflights lie flush with the roofline and have an A+ window energy rating meaning they look good and perform well both inside and out. See them installed in all their glory at the beautiful listed property in Peterborough showcased below.
We were delighted to once again be awarded Best of Design and Best of Customer Service for 2019 by the popular social media platform Houzz. Houzz is the leading platform for home renovation and design and Clement Windows Group was chosen by the more than 40 million monthly unique users that comprise the Houzz community, following a number of five star reviews from clients on projects undertaken during 2018. Click here to read more news from Clement.

One of London's most iconic landmarks brought back to life with Clement steel doors and screens Clement steel windows come in all shapes and sizes! Listed property lit up with new Clement Conservation Rooflights
Battersea Power Station – London
After being out of use since 1982, this iconic building and the surrounding area are being transformed into one of the most exciting mixed use neighbourhoods in the world. The regenerated area will include luxury homes, offices, resaurants, shops, parks and cultural spaces.
Various Clement products were chosen by contractors AreaSq to create a series of both internal and external glazed partitions, walls and doors.
This project involved the demolition of an existing two storey extension to the original house and the addition of a new extension to introduce more natural light and views of the garden.
Architects James Dunnett were appointed to create a new extension including a cantilevered upper floor which provides shade to the level below and privacy from the neighbouring housing. Clement provided the stunning EB24 steel windows and doors.
Private Residence - Peterborough
The owner of this listed property approached home improvement specialist QKS to carry out a garden room/kitchen extension with the emphasis on filling the space with natural light. The old kitchen had been starved of daylight and the client wanted a social living/eating space that connected to the garden.
Eight Clement 3 Conservation Rooflights were specified in a slate profile to bring light into the extension.
